1
Day 1 : From Mhamid el Ghizlane —> Sidi Naji
The trip starts in the early morning, at 8:00. After walking/riding camel 3 hours, it is time for lunch in the palm trees named Rase Nkhal. This break time ends with the famous glass of mint tea (or called Moroccan whiskey) !
After relaxing, we are back to the trekking for 3 more hours, until we reach Sidi Naji where we set up our camp for the night, and enjoy the evening around fire and under stars

Day 2 : From Sidi Naji —> the big dunes Erg Zahar
The trip starts again around 8 am. After breakfast, we walk for about 3:30 hours, more and more in the depth of Sahara. Then we take a small break under Tamarisk trees, and eat energetic fruits. The point is to pursue the trekking until the big dunes Erg Zahar, which is the best place to eat lunch and dinner. In the afternoon, between both meals, it is amazing to go hiking until the top of one of the highest sand dunes in Morocco.

Day 3 : From the big dunes Erg Zahar —> Kraayat Jmal
In the morning, we keep walking and riding camels for about 3 hours. Then we stop for our lunch under a shady tree.
In the afternoon, we continue in the direction of the Kraayat Jmal dunes. After 2 hours, they become our overnight place. This is a sand and stony desert. According to the nomadic trekking tradition, we obviously eat our dinner around the fire and sleep under the starry sky or in the tent.

Day 4 : From Kraayat Jmal —> Mhamid el Ghizlane
After enjoying the sunrise, we take our last breakfast in the desert. This is time to take our way back to Mhamid.
On the way, we stop for lunch in a landscape called Lbour.
After another 3 hours, the desert trip is over and we are back to the village.
This is the end of an unforgettable experience !

It was a wonderful experience. Hassan, His Brother an our Camel Guide/Cook were super nice. The desert is really impressing. You have to Like the simple Life but than it is an unforgettable experience!

The experience of trekking in the desert is amazing. Walk, rest, eat, have tea, sleep in complete silence, wake up soon at sunset…. all complete a beautiful experience. It permit to have an idea of Sahara culture.

Die 4-tägige Kameltrekkingtour mit **contesdudesert.com** war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! 🌟 Die Landschaft der Sahara ist atemberaubend – vom goldenen Sand bis hin zur friedlichen Stille, die nur vom sanften Schritt der Kamele begleitet wurde. Besonders habe ich die Fußmärsche genossen, die es mir ermöglichten, die Schönheit der Wüste hautnah zu erleben und mich vollkommen mit der Natur zu verbinden.
Unsere einheimischen Guides, echte Nomaden, waren unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam. Sie haben sich rührend um unser Wohl gekümmert, stets darauf geachtet, dass wir uns wohlfühlen, und uns gleichzeitig Einblicke in ihre faszinierende Kultur gegeben. Ihre Gastfreundschaft und Einblicke in die marokkanische Kochkunst, waren inspirierend. 🐪✨
Ich kann diese Tour jedem empfehlen, der die Wüste in ihrer reinsten und magischsten Form erleben möchte. Ein Abenteuer, das ich nie vergessen werde – vielen Dank an das gesamte Team von Contes du Désert! ❤️
