4 days trekking with camels and 4×4

We start our journey from Mhamid with a caravan of camels to explore and discover some very beautiful and wonderful parts of the great desert. After about 3 hours on the road, we enjoy our lunch break under shady tamarisk trees in a place named Lbour. After another 3 hours of riding and/or trekking, we set up our camp in the KrayAt Jmal where there are tamarisk trees.

We continue through the magical Sahara desert. We cross a large part of the desert zone., stones We eat lunch in Lotide dunes. After a 3-hours walk, we set up our camp in Oued Ltash, a dry riverbed where historically the water was coming from the Benny mountains. We set up the camp in this place, where there are small dunes and lot of tamarisk trees.

After breakfast, we continue our trek with the caravan of camels. Before reaching the Erg Chegaga's large group of dunes, we have lunch and a cup of tea at a sacred oasis consisting of a small group of palm trees. Our journey continues for around 15 km until we reach the great dunes of Erg Chegaga. We enjoy the sunset over the high dunes and taste another world of peace and tranquility. Then we go down from the dunes and spend the night in a comfortable camp with beds, shower and private tent for everyone. We enjoy dinner around a big fire where we play music together.

In the early morning, we can enjoy sunrise at the top of the dunes and start the last day with the beautiful lights of the sun in our mind ! After breakfast in the tent restaurant, we return by 4x4 jeep to the village of Mhamid, the "Gateway to the Moroccan Desert".
